The star attraction was, of course, the breathtaking carpet of native bluebells, which continue to flourish across the woodland each spring.
This protected species transforms the forest into a vibrant sea of colour, drawing nature lovers from near and far.
Hosted by Mid and East Antrim Borough Council, there was no shortage of activities for attendees of all ages.
From live music and orienteering adventures for all to building woodland dens and craft activities for young people.
There was also the opportunity to unwind and connect with nature through outdoor yoga sessions.
Here are some of the best snaps from Steven McAuley/McAuley Multimedia.
