The crash occurred on the northbound section of the M2 motorway, with traffic down to one lane as police and emergency services dealt with a multi-vehicle road traffic collision near the Mallusk junction.
The crash caused delays to people trying to get through the rush-hour traffic out of Belfast.
The PSNI confirmed that whilst the road has now re-opened, knock-on delays are still expected.
