Fire crews had to be called out to the church for a second time on Monday night, after a fire had wrecked the church hall and part of the main church building the previous night.

However, in a statement on Facebook, Greenisland Parish confirmed that they “will be meeting for worship, prayer and fellowship, just like we always do, and EVERYONE is welcome.”

The service will take place at Greenisland Methodist Church at the earlier time of 9:30am, but the Facebook post stresses that “the faces will be as friendly as ever.”
