At the top of the list we have Castlereagh (Carrowreagh) which saw a population increase of 26.89% from 2014 to 2019.

These are the top ten areas in NI where the population is booming:

This Council ward has had the biggest growth in the last 5 years with an increase in population of 26.89 per cent.
2.
Coleraine Borough Council Offices. Coleraine Central is the area that comes second in NI for population growth. According to NISRA the area has seen a population boom of 26.44 per cent.

Lisburn (Magheraleve) has seen a population change of 19.08 per cent. The population has expanded by 19.1 per cent. The stats were recorded between 2014 and 2019.

The Botanic area of Belfast saw a population boom of 18.3 per cent between 2014 and 2019. The Botanic ward lies in south Belfast and included Queen's university.
