The MLAs who scuppered John Blair’s Hunting Bill should really be asking themselves some serious questions.

Why on earth would they not want to stop the vile premeditated animal cruelty highlighted by BBC Spotlight and the USPCA in the expose ‘Hunting with Dogs’?

The smoke and mirrors version of hunting that is often presented by its advocates has been shown to be a farce.

It is shocking that in 2022 Northern Ireland is the only part of the UK that still allows wildlife tormentors to go into our countryside accompanied by hunting dogs with the purpose of ripping living creatures to shreds for fun, it has nothing to do with pest control.

I believe that these people participate because they enjoy seeing animals in anguish and pain and to try to claim it is some sort of endeavour does not stand up to even the most basic level of scrutiny.
