Letter: Critic seems to think we lack intelligence for supporting a single unionist party
A letter from Harry Patterson:
In Saturday's paper (‘The idea of a single unionist party in Northern Ireland is ludicrous and smacks of desperation,’ December 6) Edward Ferrin describes those unionists (of whom I am one) calling for a single unionist party as lacking political intellect or intelligence. Presumably Edward thinks he has both of the above qualities.

Indeed talk of a single unionist party is a tad boring to Edward. He seems to be suggesting that the spread among unionism is not wide enough nor varied enough but he doesn't tell us how he would go about achieving this. Perhaps he needs a bigger box to think outside of?
