'Extremely dangerous' laughing gas canisters discarded around NI - 'please don’t inhale nitrous oxide – it could kill you'

A warning has been issued to the public to be aware that a number of nitrous oxide or laughing gas canisters being discarded in various places in NI.

A post from the Public Health Agency warns the public: "We have been alerted to a number of nitrous oxide canisters being discarded in various places.

"Nitrous oxide is extremely dangerous if misused.

"Please don’t inhale nitrous oxide – it could kill you.

"If you find any of these canisters, call your local council to inform them and they can dispose of them.
