Police are on the hunt for two men after armed robbery at travel agents in Belfast

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at commercial premises on the Upper Lisburn Road in south Belfast this evening.

It was reported that shortly before 4.45pm, two males carrying knives entered a travel agents and demanded money from staff.

The two males made off with a sum of cash in the direction of Grangeville Gardens.

The members of staff were not injured during this incident, however they were left badly shaken by their ordeal.

One of the males is described as being approximately 5’9”-5”10 tall and was wearing a blue hooded jacket, white T-shirt, black track bottoms and a beanie hat. The second male is described as wearing a black top, black track bottoms and a black peaked beanie hat.

Detective Sergeant Keith Wilson is appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information that can assist the investigation to contact Detectives at Reactive and Organised Crime at Musgrave on 101, quoting reference 746 of 15/02/17.
