Robbery targets primary school in loyalist district of Belfast
A DUP MLA has condemned a robbery at a primary school in south Belfast.
Christopher Stalford, representing the constituency, said the break-in at Blythefield Primary School in the loyalist Sandy Row district, on the edge of the city centre, resulted in the loss of “laptops, a passport and other valuable equipment”.
Police said the break-in was reported to them on Sunday.
Mr Stalford said: “The school is at the heart of the community and any attack on the school is an attack on the whole community.”
