Suspected outbreak of deadly coronavirus at NI hospital
An investigation has been launched after a suspected outbreak of the deadly coronavirus at hospital in Northern Ireland tonight.
Altnagelvin Hospital in Londonderry followed an emergency protocol after a mother and a young child presented with symptoms consistent with the deadly virus on Thursday.
it is understood the mother and child had recently returned to the city after visiting Hong Kong.
At the time of publishing, there were no confirmed cases of coronavirus in Northern Ireland.
