Tributes paid to tragic Scott McNeill who died after collision

Tributes have been paid to 21-year-old Scott McNeill from Dromara who died after a two vehicle collision in Carryduff last night.

Police have confirmed that Mr McNeill, who was injured in a road traffic collision on the Ballynahinch Road in Carryduff has died in hospital from his injuries.

Police are continuing to appeal for anyone who was travelling on the Ballynahinch Road last night and who witnessed the collision to contact officers in Lisburn Police Station or the Collision Investigation Unit in Sprucefield on 101.

Tributes have started pouring in for the young man including one from a friend which says: “I just can’t believe it... Heaven has gained another angel far too soon and he only takes the best of us! We will always have our silly memories, you where my friend for as long as I can remember and a good friend too! heart emoticon Thinking of all your family and your wee man! Rest easy Scott Mcneill”

Another friend posted on Facebook: “RIP Scott Mcneill such a shock to hear about such a good lad some really good memories never will forget them GBNF”.
