Warning of icy roads across Northern Ireland
An overnight weather warning has been issued for Northern Ireland.
Road users have been advised to exercise caution as temperatures are expected to drop below freezing leading to icy roads in many areas.
A Department of Regional Development spokesman said: “Salting of main through routes is underway. However there is rain/shower activity which may cause wash-off leading to icy patches.
“Road users should be aware and exercise caution.”
