IRISH LEAGUE: Ballymena United striker Darren Henderson placed on transfer list
Darren Henderson has been placed on the transfer list at Ballymena United at his own request.
The striker has found his first-team opportunities limited this season.
Henderson is looking to find regular football elsewhere in the Danske Bank Premiership, and Ballymena boss Glenn Ferguson believes it would be beneficial for the player.
“I understand why Darren has asked to be placed on the transfer list. He wants to be playing football and I cannot guarantee him that at Ballymena,” he said.
“Darren came to us last night and asked to be made available to other clubs, and after speaking to my staff we agreed to the request.”
