Ballymena confirm Fuad Sule minutes option as deadline day signing returns to Irish League
Fuad Sule’s first minutes in Ballymena United colours could come at home next week against Crusaders.
Sule has returned to the Irish League following time in Indonesia from last summer with Peris Solo.
The 29-year-old established a reputation as one of the domestic game’s premier midfielders across trophy-winning spells with Larne and Glentoran.
Now Ballymena will be aiming to benefit from Sule’s experience levels and elite reputation following the swoop on deadline day.

Ballymena confirmed the signing over social media on Tuesday, citing “pending international clearance, Fuad will be available for selection for next Tuesday’s re-arranged Premiership game with Crusaders at the Showgrounds”.
Other deadline day deals across the Premiership included Oisin Devlin confirming a permanent switch to Bangor from Larne – following his initial move between the top-flight clubs on loan – plus Cliftonville wrapping up three signings across the closing hours of the January window.
The Reds can boast a fresh face in attack following the capture of 24-year-old striker Adam Carroll from Warrenpoint Town.
Cliftonville also sealed a switch for Zach Balfour.
The 19-year-old goalkeeper counts Annan Athletic, Livingston, Queen’s Park and Gala Fairydean as past clubs.
Finally, the Reds confirmed Josh Kelly’s loan arrival from Glentoran in the final minutes of the window – bringing Cliftonville’s January tally to eight additions.
