'I've had worse Fri evenings lol': Fans react to Coleraine comeback joy away at Larne in Irish League five-goal thriller
Current league leaders Coleraine produced a stunning second-half comeback win to turn the tables against defending league champions Larne from 2-0 down before 60 minutes to 3-2 up at Friday’s final whistle.
Exciting teenager James Simpson fired Larne in front with goals on 16 and 50 minutes to give home fans hope of a significant success over the early-season Premiership front-runners.
However, Ruaidhri Higgins’ tactical tweaks including a Coleraine formation switch ultimately provided a spark as Joel Cooper bagged a brace either side of Matthew Shevlin’s header in the memorable win.
