Transfermarkt calculates a player's market value using a qualitative approach and says the goal is to estimate the value of a player in a free market, not to predict a specific transfer fee.
While some of the numbers can be skewed, it’s still a good indication of who they rank as the Irish League’s most exciting talents and those that could potentially be set for bigger and better things in the future.
Using their market values system, here are who they view as the Premiership’s top 15 most valuable young players aged under 21.
9. Tomas Galvin (Dungannon Swifts)

10. Axel Piesold (Cliftonville)
Axel Piesold was involved in Premier League matchday squads at Luton Town and has made 15 Premiership appearances during his loan spell at Cliftonville so far this season. 11. Harry Jewett-White (Crusaders)
Welsh youth international Harry Jewett-White made two League One appearances for Portsmouth during the 2022/23 campaign and joined Crusaders last summer after departing Fratton Park. 12. Kirk McLaughlin (Coleraine)
Kirk McLaughlin returned to Coleraine from Glentoran ahead of this season and with the form of main man Matthew Shevlin, the 20-year-old has struggled for senior opportunity, making only nine Premiership appearances.
