Transfermarkt calculates a player's market value using a qualitative approach and says the goal is to estimate the value of a player in a free market, not to predict a specific transfer fee.
While some of the numbers can be skewed, it’s still a good indication of who they rank as the Irish League’s most exciting talents and those that could potentially be set for bigger and better things in the future.
Using their market values system, here are who they view as the Premiership’s top 15 most valuable young players aged under 21.

13. Daithi McCallion (Ballymena United)
Having spent the second half of last season on loan at Ballymena United, Daithi McCallion returned on a permanent basis from Derry City ahead of the current term and has arguably been the Sky Blues' standout performer. 14. Rhys Annett (Linfield)
A mixture of injury and the fine form of Matthew Fitzpatrick has limited Rhys Annett to only eight Premiership appearances this season but he scored a crucial goal in November's 2-0 win over Ballymena United at Windsor Park. Still only 20, Annett is one for the future at Windsor Park and netted four league goals last term while scoring in the BetMcLean Cup final. Photo: Desmond Loughery/Pacemaker Press

15. Ryan Corrigan (Cliftonville)
Ryan Corrigan is the youngest player on this list at 17 and has developed into a mainstay of Cliftonville's senior squad this season, making 16 Premiership appearances and scored the winner in a 2-1 victory over league leaders Linfield at Windsor Park. He also netted as the Reds defeated Banbridge Rangers in the Irish Cup earlier this month. Photo: Stephen Davison/Pacemaker Press
