At the bottom, Glenavon have endured a difficult beginning, losing all six matches to date, while reigning Irish Cup kings Dungannon Swifts got off the mark at Mourneview Park last weekend.
In each Premiership fixture, Sofascore provides every player with a match rating out of 10 and averages their scores across the season, giving their suggestions for who have been the top domestic performers.
Here, we take a look at the 11 players they feel have enjoyed a tremendous start to the campaign.
NOTE: Players have had to feature in at least four matches to qualify and data is for Premiership only.

9. Dylan Boyle (Coleraine, Average Match Rating: 7.36)
Dylan Boyle has made more passes than any other midfielder in the Premiership (281) while Cliftonville's Jack Keaney (291) is the only player of any position with more. He helps keep Coleraine ticking and is an ever-reliable performer. Photo: INPHO/Stephen Hamilton

10. Jordan Jenkins (Glentoran, Average Match Rating: 7.35)
Jordan Jenkins enjoyed the best season of his career last term for Glentoran and he's picked up where he left off this time around. He has scored three goals and is now forming what could be a potent partnership alongside Pat Hoban. Only two strikers have made more dribbles than Jenkins (12) and only one has been fouled more times (eight), showing he causes constant problems to defenders. 11. Rory Hale (Cliftonville, Average Match Rating: 7.32)
One of the best players in the Irish League, Rory Hale is one of four players sitting top of the assists chart on two while only Joel Cooper has made more key passes (nine). He's the driving force behind Cliftonville and is a leader for the Reds, both in terms of captaincy and also with performances. Photo: INPHO/Presseye/Brian Little
