Isle of Man TT legend Michael Dunlop returns to action and set to compete in final event at end of November
Isle of Man TT star Michael Dunlop took part in the Baltinglass Rally on Sunday as he continued his four-wheel revival in 2026.
Dunlop returned to rallying this year, competing in the Donegal International Rally and Ulster Rally events behind the wheel of a Ford Escort RS.

The record 36-time TT winner isn’t finished for the season, with Ballymoney man Dunlop also entered for the Killarney Historic Rally at the end of November.
The final two stages on Sunday were delayed by an incident, with Stage 4 cancelled to bring the field back on schedule as cars began to return to service in Baltinglass.
Dunlop wrapped up another impressive year at the Classic TT in August, where he won the Senior Classic, Formula One and Lightweight Classic races for a treble. He also set a new lap record at 129.078mph on the Team Classic Suzuki GSX-R750 SRAD.
In May, Dunlop won the Supersport race on the Scars Racing Ducati and completed a double on the machine at the TT, where he also won the Sportbike race for a hat-trick.
The 37-year-old made regular appearances at the Irish national road races in 2026, winning multiple races at the Cookstown 100, Tandragee 100, Walderstown, Skerries 100 and Mid Antrim 150.
