Isle of Man TT Sidecar winners Ryan and Callum Crowe make victorious comeback at Bishopscourt's Classic Bike Festival in Co Down
Four-time Isle of Man TT Sidecar winners Ryan and Callum Crowe made a winning comeback after a serious crash at the TT in June at the Classic Bike Festival Ireland meeting at Bishopscourt in Co Down on Saturday.
The Crowe brothers were involved in a 160mph crash during qualifying at Crosby Leap and miraculously escaped without any life-threatening injuries.
The Sidecar races at the TT were cancelled on safety grounds following the incident and a review was launched in the future of the class at the event.
On Saturday, the Manx brothers set a new lap record around the 1.824-mile course at 87.740mph (1m 14.839s) in their LCR Honda 600 to win by 13.371s from Dylan Lynch and Cillian Rodgers (LCR Suzuki).

The TT has published its First-Stage of the TT Sidecar Sustainability Review at the end of July, which concluded that while Sidecar racing could continue at the TT “through a phased programme of reform”, significant change was needed.
It recommended the establishment of a Technical Development Group to oversee the next phase of work, involving ongoing consultation with competitors, constructors, the Auto Cycle Union and “the wider Sidecar racing community”.
