BELFAST EMPIRE UPS THE DAY PARTY GAME WITH A FULL LIVE 2000s TRIBUTE.
JOIN Y2K in the Empire Music Hall on Saturday 25th of April for an afternoon of Millennial anthems, courtesy of Belfast’s favourite party band. Much more than a day disco, this is a full live experience with some of the country’s finest musicians.
The crew behind the legendary Pleasuredome 80s Tribute and NOW the 90s are bringing us a new decade of music, with the focus on the bangers from the 2000s. Expect everything from Robbie Williams to the Kings of Leon, from P!NK to the Killers, in an early bird extravaganza at Botanic’s finest venue.
There’s a DJ before and after the band, and we’ll have it all wrapped up by ten. Perfect for big birthdays, hens, stags and anyone who appreciates getting home before the last bus.
Steven Bradley, Events Manager at the Belfast Empire said:
“We’ve seen the rise of the daytime party here at the Belfast Empire, so for 2026 we have decided to go all out, with a full live band on a monthly basis. The team behind the legendary Pleasuredome asked their fans if an earlier show is something they would go for. The answer was an overwhelming yes.
We’re kicking off the early birds on April 25 with Y2K, with all the 00’s hits, then Pleasuredome in May for the 80s and Now The 90s in June. So there’s something for everyone!”
Maurice Jay, lead singer, or however he prefers to be called, said:
“Since we started Pleasuredome 15 years ago, we’ve always moved with the times. NOW the 90s gave us another decade to play with, and now with Y2K we’ve got 30 years of tunes in the bag.
We’ve listened to our fans and we’re thrilled to bring the early bird event to the Belfast Empire. It’s the same experience you know and love from the crew - just that little bit earlier! No other venue is offering a full live band with their day party - it’s an entirely different experience, one on another level.”
TICKETS FOR Y2K - 00s ANTHEMS ON SATURDAY 25 APRIL ARE ON SALE NOW VIA TICKETMASTER AND IN PERSON FROM THE EMPIRE BOX OFFICE.
