Northern Ireland country cover band Diesel & Dust are celebrating a memorable performance at the US Consulate’s Independence Day event in Belfast, where they entertained guests as part of commemorations honouring 250 years of American independence.
The event was the band’s second appearance at the Consulate for 4th of July celebrations. The return marks another high-profile performance for Diesel & Dust as they continue to bring live country music to audiences across Northern Ireland.
Founded by lead guitarist Nick Osbourne, Diesel & Dust bring a high-energy blend of country classics, 90s favourites and modern Nashville hits to audiences across Northern Ireland. Their live set is built around feel-good songs and dance floor favourites, with music from artists including Brooks & Dunn, Dwight Yoakam, Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton and Brothers Osborne.

The band said the Consulate performance was a major highlight.
“It was a real privilege to be invited back to perform at the US Consulate in Belfast, especially for such a significant celebration,” said Nick Osbourne, founder and lead guitarist of Diesel & Dust. “The atmosphere was fantastic, the audience was brilliant, and we’ll remember this concert for a long time.”
Diesel & Dust are made up of George Jackson on lead vocals, Nick Osbourne on lead guitar, David Ewing on bass and backing vocals, Scott LaRiviere on keys, Dave Bayley on drums, and Ross Boreland on rhythm guitar.
