'An excellent example of the complex': Northern Ireland contractor appointed by Irish Government to transform five floors of new embassy and State Agency

Graham’s Interior Fit-Out division has been appointed by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to deliver the fit out of the new Ireland House premises at 10 Spring Gardens, part of The Crown Estate’s West End portfolio, located between The Mall and Trafalgar Square in central London.

The contractor has recently been appointed to fit out the five floors which will make up the Ireland House premises. Work is expected to start on site shortly and last until summer 2027.

Once complete, Ireland House London will incorporate the Embassy of Ireland including the public facing Citizen Services Office and three of Ireland’s key State Agencies - Bord Bia, Enterprise Ireland and IDA Ireland.

A new Ireland House main entrance foyer and reception will be situated on the first floor level approached via Carlton House Terrace.

GRAHAM’s fit-out team will deliver office accommodation for each Team Ireland partner including new workspaces, storage, kitchen facilities, meeting rooms and event space.

As part of the office accommodation fit-out, Graham will install new mechanical, electrical and public health systems.

Neil Dickson, interior fit out contract director at Graham, said: “Ireland House is a significant addition to our growing portfolio and an excellent example of the complex, high-quality environments our specialist interior fit-out team is equipped to deliver.

“The project requires the careful coordination of five floors of office accommodation, public-facing and event space, alongside the installation of new mechanical, electrical and public health systems.

“We are proud to be working with the government of Ireland for the first time and look forward to applying our expertise to deliver an Ireland House that reflects the importance of its role in London.”

A spokesperson for Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade said: “We’re pleased to be working with Graham on the establishment of Ireland House London; a development which emphasises the importance of the British-Irish relationship, and the need to further strengthen and renew links between the two countries.”
