As Breeding Advisor for Counties Antrim and Down, Angus Mawhinney will work alongside producers throughout the area to enhance Cogent’s portfolio and provide a first class service on farm. He joins Cogent with a wealth of experience in dairy herd management both for his own Holstein herd on the home farm just outside Ballyclare and throughout his career in the pedigree sales sector.

Former Field Sales Advisor, Jamie Sproule has also taken the next step within Cogent to become a fully-trained Evaluator for the company’s new mating programme. In his newly defined role, Jamie will be responsible for targeting inbreeding and driving improvement within his customers herds.
