The newly refurbished cinema plays homage to the Hollywood era with a luxury 1920’s design and feel but with modern comforts, such as premium laser projection, Dolby Digital Sound and fully electric reclining seats as standard in all screens for the most immersive sound and viewing experience.

The cinema also features a brand new version of their ‘click and collect’ service which allows you to pre-book tickets and goodies online or on-kiosk in cinema, check in on arrival, and collect on your way to the screens reducing any queue time in the foyer.

Paul John Anderson, Director of Omniplex Cinemas said: “We’re delighted to be able to finish our major refurbishment in Bangor, a little later than we had hoped! I can’t wait for movie fans to try our supremely comfortable electric reclining seats and crystal clear laser projection. Bangor D’LUXX Omniplex is now a leader in cinema technology and comfort and with over 2m in legroom in all screens which are naturally well suited to Social Distancing.”

The cinema has opened with a range of safety measures in place including; in-cinema seat separation, sanitization stations throughout the cinema, and enhanced cleaning regimens. The opening comes in line with the ‘Omniplex Seat Sale’ where guests can experience the D’LUXX cinemas experience for just £5 per ticket until the October 8.
