Craigavon: Free treats for 100 people as Wingstop opens new Rushmere restaurant
Global chicken brand Wingstop is continuing its expansion with the opening of its third Northern Ireland restaurant in Craigavon on Friday (July 24).
To celebrate its arrival at Rushmere Shopping Centre, the company says it is offering the first 100 people through the door following the 11am launch a choice of eight free chicken wings or boneless.
The 238-square-metre store will accommodate 103 covers, bringing the brand's unique flavours and signature menu to Craigavon.
Wingstop first opened on the island of Ireland back in December 2025 at Liffey Valley, Dublin, before moving to Belfast’s Boucher Crescent in March 2026, then Dundonald in April 2026.
All three store openings saw eager fans queuing hours before the doors opened, and the same is anticipated in Craigavon.
Paddy Bamford, chief financial officer of Wingstop UK & Ireland, said: “This opening marks another important step in our Northern Ireland growth strategy.
"The warm reception we received in Belfast following our launch on Boucher Crescent in March and Dundonald in April, has been incredible, and we look forward to continuing to bring the flavour to new communities."
Operated by Lemon Pepper Holdings, the business expects 20 sites to open across the island within the next seven years.
The Northern Ireland expansion will also bring new employment opportunities, supported by long-term career growth through its Step-Up programme and Wingstop University internal training programme.
The company says it is also committed to partnering with grassroots music, emerging creatives and underrepresented voices in arts and fashion, while supporting charities and community sport.
