Famous Five take quiz prize at Muckamore

The ladies enjoyed a meal in the Ramble Inn and after dinner held a table quiz with the Famous Five team winning. The team consisted of Alison Graham, Heather Kerr, Margaret McGregor, Wilma Scott and Mary Thompson.

The spot prize for the evening was the person wearing the most buttons which was won by Wilma Scott with second place going to Margaret McCloy.

Birthday girl for the month was Evelyn Fleming.

Congratulations were extended to Gwen Campbell who gained second place in the area bowling competition and special thanks to Jenny Everett, Anne Porter and Ruth Wilson who represented Muckamore WI at the area quiz.

Congratulations to Florence McFarland who gained the highest score in the audience.

Congratulations were extended to Isobel Vaughan on the birth of a great-grandchild and to Elizabeth Gray on the birth of a granddaughter.

Dates for the diary are 12th April Muckamore WI Drama Group invites everyone to an evening of light entertainment. The evening is to include their drama ‘Just made for You’ at 7.30pm in The Ramble Inn. Tickets are £8 including refreshments can be obtained from Elizabeth on 028 9446 2109. Proceeds will go to Laurel House and Macmillan Cancer Support Group Antrim.

On 30th April at 10am the members will take part in the Associated Country Woman of the World sponsored walk and refreshments in Antrim.
