Limavady: Leaping Hound Bar and a new two-storey soft play area unveiled in latest phase of £20m investment at Roe Valley Resort

A new bar and two-storey soft play area have been unveiled as part of a £20m transformation programme at Roe Valley Resort, Limavady.

At the heart of the resort, Leaping Hound has opened its doors, providing a welcoming setting for everything from casual lunches and afternoon drinks to lively evenings with family and friends.

Inspired by the legendary 'Dog's Leap', from which Limavady takes its name, the bar combines a relaxed atmosphere with a carefully curated food and drinks offering, complemented by regular live music every weekend.

Designed with younger adventurers in mind, the soft play centre is also now open, offering an exciting indoor space where children can climb, slide and explore, whatever the weather.

Alongside the new family and leisure attractions, Roe Valley Resort has also welcomed guests to Mussenden Lodge, a luxury four-bedroom self-catering property overlooking Lough Foyle and Binevenagh.

Sleeping up to eight guests and complete with an outdoor hot tub, the new accommodation provides a base for family celebrations, golf breaks, and group getaways in the North West.

Charlotte McClean, general manager at Roe Valley Resort, said: "We're delighted to welcome everyone to experience these fantastic new additions at Roe Valley Resort.

"Whether it's little ones discovering the new soft play centre, friends getting together for lunch in Leaping Hound or families enjoying an evening of live music, there's something new for everyone to enjoy."

The latest offerings build on significant investment already delivered across the resort, including a helter-skelter, adventure playground, arcade, pool slides and the opening of Fratelli,

the resort’s popular Italian restaurant. With family pool passes and day passes available, visitors can enjoy the resort’s facilities on a day-visit basis.

Charlotte added: "We've already had a wonderful response since opening and it's fantastic to see so many local families, guests and visitors making the most of the new facilities.

"These additions are another exciting step in the resort's transformation, and we look forward to welcoming many more familiar and new faces through our doors over the months ahead."

Further developments, including a new adults-only spa, are planned across the estate as Galgorm Collection continues to enhance the resort's facilities and experiences.
