Student is brewing up a bright future
Loughry campus student Shannon Donnelly is brewing up a bright future for herself as she completed her industrial placement with global drinks company Diageo.
Based at their Baileys plant outside Belfast, Shannon is playing a key role as a Quality Assistant ensuring the famous cream liqueur is manufactured to a high standard and reaches the customer in optimum quality.
In addition to gaining relevant experience with a global company and developing a wide range of key employability skills, Shannon, who is currently studying for a BSc (Hons) Food Technology will graduate with a Diploma in Industrial Studies to compliment her Degree. This will enable her to gain a competitive edge when seeking graduate employment.
Shannon is certainly brewing up a bright future for herself in the food and drink industry.
