‘The Range’ plans major retail outlet
Discount retailer, The Range is set to open a major retail warehouse and garden centre in Banbridge if all goes according to plan.
Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council’s planning department has received an application to bring a prominent store to Banbridge.

The proposal notice was submitted to Council on Thursday, August 20, for the erection of a retail warehouse and provision of ancillary garden centre.
If approved it will see land at Bridgewater Park north-west of Tesco and north-east of Cascum Road, Banbridge become The Range’s new home.
The total gross floorspace of the proposed development is 4,476m2.
It is understood the developer hopes to have the Banbridge store open in 2021.
This will be The Range’s second store in the borough with a store in the Meadow’s Centre, Portadown, having opened in 2018. The company also has plans for further expansion in NI.
