- Work: Only one element remains in place for the work section listed in phase three of recovery plan and that is 'phased on site return' of employees to their places of work.

When this restriction is eased, the work section will move directly to phase five (there are no restrictions included in phase four for work).

- Retail: The Northern Ireland Executive has fully implemented the five step recovery plan for retail in Northern Ireland.

The last retail outlets to reopen to the public were hair salons and nail bars on Monday July 6.

- Education: Schoolchildren would be in the middle of the summer holidays regardless of the pandemic.

Technically, the Executive has fully implemented this section of the recovery plan but many of the restrictions cannot be lifted while the pupils are off for the summer.

The Executive has given the last remaining restrictions indicative dates for when they will be lifted.

These restrictions are: increased capacity; priority opening; blended learning; open on part-time basis and full time school return.

Teaching staff will return to schools on Monday August 17.

Schools return (certain year groups) from Monday August 24.

- Travel: Only one element remains in place for the work section listed in phase two of recovery plan and that is the 'increased operation' of public transport.

There are no restrictions listed in Phase Three of the recovery plan which means it moves straight to phase four which contains one restriction and that is 'increased operation in rural area'.

Phase Five, 'full return' of public transport remains in place and has not been provided with an indicative date for when the Executive might ease or relax the measure.

- Family & Community: The Executive has implemented the first three steps of the recovery plan pertaining to 'Family & Community'.

The last time one of the restrictions was eased was on Monday June 29 when groups of up to 30 people from different households could meet-up outside provided they adhered to social distancing measures.

The Phase Four restriction is a 'wider range of gatherings' and Phase Five is 'extended group gatherings'.

- Sport, Cultural and Leisure: All but three of the elements that make up stage four and stage five of the recovery plan for Sport, Cultural and Leisure are outdoor concerts; nightclubs and indoor concerts.

There are other restrictions contained with Sport, Cultural and Leisure that currently remain in place but have been given an indicative date by the Executive for when they return - these are: open-air museums (late August); concerts/theatres rehearsals (July 29); libraries (July 16); competitive sports behind closed doors (July 17); leisure centres (August 7); gyms and fitness studios (July 10); spectators permitted (outdoor) July 31 and (indoor) August 28 and bingo and cinemas July 29.
