‘We’re proud to continue investing locally’: Northern Ireland oil distributor expands retail network with new Auto 365 forecourt
The Culmore Road development represents another step in Nicholl Oils’ retail expansion, while bringing new commercial opportunities to the area
Northern Ireland's largest independent oil distributor Nicholl Oils has expanded its retail network with the opening of a new Auto 365 forecourt in Londonderry.

The new development represents a significant investment by the family-owned company as it continues to grow its presence in the north west and celebrates over six decades in business.
The Culmore Road site forms part of Nicholl Oils' wider expansion of its Auto 365 retail network, adding to its existing operations across Northern Ireland.

Alongside the forecourt, the development has created space for a number of local businesses, including Culmore Farm Shop, Spice Junction Indian Cuisine, Vanity Dog Grooming and Rappi Food.
Nicholl Oils said the development will provide additional commercial space while creating a wider destination for motorists and customers in the area.
The company marked the opening with an event attended by representatives from Culmore Youth FC, which Nicholl Oils sponsors, as well as invited guests and members of the local community.
Margaret Gallagher, director of retail at Nicholl Oils, said the investment would further strengthen the company's local position.
She explained: “We’re delighted to officially open our new Auto 365 forecourt in Culmore and to further strengthen our presence in the north west. This investment demonstrates our ongoing commitment to delivering convenience, value and excellent service to local customers.
“As a family-owned business that has been serving communities across Northern Ireland for more than 60 years, we’re proud to continue investing locally and creating facilities that benefit residents, motorists and businesses alike. We’re also pleased to celebrate this milestone alongside Culmore Youth FC, a club that plays an important role within the local community and one we’re proud to support.”
Liam Cregan, managing director of Foyleview Builders, said the company was delighted to partner with Nicholl Oils on the Culmore Road development.
He added: “As a trusted local family business, Nicholl Oils was a natural fit for us, and we look forward to further additions to the development in the months ahead.”
The latest investment comes as Nicholl Oils continues to develop its business across fuel distribution and retail.
The company supplies home heating oil, commercial fuels, lubricants and renewable energy solutions, alongside its Auto 365 forecourt network.
The Culmore Road development adds to that growing retail operation and strengthens Nicholl Oils' footprint in the North West, while providing further commercial space for local businesses.
