Book Covid-19 vaccine Northern Ireland online - a how to step-by-step guide

Step one

Log on to https://covid-19.hscni.net/get-vaccinated/Step two

Choose between 'Book your vaccination online' and 'Book your vaccine at a pharmacy'.

Step three (if you selected 'book your vaccination online):

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click 'Check you are eligible to book a vaccination'.

Step four:

Read the information carefully to find out if you are currently eligible for the vaccine.

Step five:

If the vaccine is available to you

Step six:

Return to step five and click 'start' to commence booking your date and time for your Covid-19 vaccination.

Step seven:

Fill in the brief Covid-19 questionnaire.

Make sure to have your 10 digit health and care number (HCN) handy as you will be asked to include it when attempting to complete the booking.

Step eight:

Depending on your selections you should see one of two screens - one: confirming your eligibility for a Covid-19 vaccine or two: a screen confirming you are not eligible to book a vaccine.

Step nine:

Confirm your contact details e.g. email address and mobile number.

Select either your email address or mobile number for verification and depending on which one you selected you will receive a five digit one time authentication code.

Step ten:

Enter the five digit code and you will either be placed in queue or taken straight through to where you can select the time, date and location for your Covid-19 vaccine.
