GAA player tests positive for Covid-19 - all training and games cancelled this week

A post on the Naomh Gall CLG Facebook page says: "Earlier today we learned that a member of Naomh Gall had tested positive for Covid-19.

"This is an adult member who recently returned from holiday, and we wish him well in his recovery.

"We have contacted the Public Health Authority, and have been advised to close the Clubhouse and undertake a deep clean.

"They are aware of the timeline of when he last attended the Clubhouse and all activities within the Club since then.

"As a precautionary measure we have made the decision to cancel all training and games this week."

The post adds: "We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but trust you can appreciate our duty of care to all who attend Naomh Gall.

"We will post an update if we receive any further guidance from the PHA.
