NI stitchers on a mission to sew as many scrubs as possible for frontline staff - appeal for funds and fabric

A team of NI stitchers have launched an appeal to raise funds to buy fabric to sew up as many scrubs as possible for frontling workers.

Already £2,900 has been raised according to the online page - exceeding the £2,000 target.

The appeal - launched on Facebook - by organiser Angeline Murphy from Magheralin reads: “Hi everyone, firstly thanks for calling by this page.

“Myself and a team of Northern Ireland stitchers are on a mission to sew as many scrubs and items for our frontline staff as possible.

“To make this happen we need your help.

“Please donate as much or as little as you can to help buy the fabric material needed for our stitchers to sew up!

“Can anyone with sewing skills or poly cotton fabric willing to donate please join our NI Scrubs Group on Facebook.

“Thanks so much - Lets get our frontline their armour!
