Co Armagh Orangemen launch leaflet campaign

A pamphlet seeking to help explain the traditions of the Orange Institution was unveiled last Tuesday during an event at the Palace Demesne park in Armagh city.

Members of the Order now intend to distribute it across the wider Armagh district area, including placing it in tourist offices.

Marking the launch, District Master Ivan Ross said: “The Orange Institution is regularly portrayed as an extremist fringe of society. It most definitely is not...

“The district is determined to pro-actively challenge misconceptions about our institution and our members.”

The pamphlet will be distributed in the coming weeks across the district.
