Appeal after three masked men seen carrying ‘large blade’ on city street

Detectives are appealing for information following the report of a masked gang carrying ‘a large blade’ on a city street in the early hours of this morning.

The incident happened in the Kansas Avenue area of north Belfast this morning.

A PSNI statement says that it was reported to police at around 12:30 am three masked men, one of which was reported to have been carrying a large blade, were seen in the Kansas Avenue area.

Detective Sergeant Eric Fairfield said: “Our enquiries are continuing and anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area or who may have information which may assist us is asked to contact detectives in Musgrave on 101 quoting reference number 43 of 13/04/21.
