Appeal for information after car and money stolen in creeper-style NI burglary

Detectives are appealing for information following a report of a creeper-style burglary at a house in the Kerrs Road area of Bangor.

Police say the incident happened sometime between 10pm on March 9 and 4am on March 10.

Detective Sergeant Westbury said: “It is believed that sometime between 10pm on Tuesday (9th March) and 4am yesterday (10th March) that entry was gained to the property.

“It was reported that a grey Kia Sportage and a sum of money were taken during the incident.

“The vehicle was located near the junction of Kerr’s Road and the upper Gransha Road areas.

“Enquiries are continuing, and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area during this period of time to contact us on 101, quoting reference 233 of 10/03/21.”
