Ballymena murder investigation: PSNI issue fresh appeal for information after triple deaths
Detectives who launched a murder investigation following the discovery of three bodies in Ballymena have issued a fresh appeal for information about the tragedy.
Three family members were found dead in their home in the Cullybackey Road area on Monday morning, 13 July.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “It’s with great sadness that we confirm a woman, aged 39, and her young daughter, aged eight, were murdered.
“Our investigation into their murder, along with the sudden death of the 41-year-old man, will continue.
“I’m keen to offer assurance that there is no ongoing risk to the public, and we are not looking for anyone else in connection with our investigation.”
They added: “My thoughts at this time are with family members and friends, who have understandably been left both shaken and heartbroken.
“This absolute tragedy has saddened the lives of so many, from loved ones to the wider community, and will be felt for many years to come.
“Family members, who are left trying to come to terms with their loss, have asked for privacy at this difficult time.”
Police are asking anyone with information to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference 482 of 13/07/26.
Information can also be provided online at www.reporting.psni.police.uk/appeals
Alternatively, information can be provided to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org
At the request of family, police are not releasing the names of the deceased at this time.
The PSNI said previoulsy that the three were from the same family.
The adults are believed to have originally been from Poland.
Police investigators’ “strong hypothesis” is that the incident was a double murder followed by a sudden death.
Flowers were left at the house by neighbours this week, as the community was left in shock at the incident.
Northern Ireland Secretary Hilary Benn said he was “deeply saddened to hear the news of the terrible tragedy”.
He posted on X: “My thoughts are with the victims, their loved ones and the local community at this very difficult time.
“I urge anyone with any information at all to contact the PSNI.”
A vigil took place on Wednesday evening outside The Braid Arts Centre in the centre of Ballymena.
The organisers of the event, Youth Ambassadors Northern Ireland, wrote in a social media post that was also translated into Polish: “In light of the recent tragedy in Ballymena we invite all members of our community both near and far to join us for a moment of quiet reflection, light and unity.
“We stand with all those affected, especially the local Polish community, during this difficult time.”
