Five charged following Newtownabbey drugs seizure

Detectives from the PSNI’s Organised Crime Unit have charged five men with a number of offences, including possession with intent to supply Class B controlled drugs.

The five men – aged 23, 35, 36, 37 and 69 – are due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday, February 25).

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

The charges follow the seizure of Class B controlled drugs by Police Service of Northern Ireland and UK Border Force officers in the Glengormley area on February 23.
