Masked men attack car and property in Larne

Police are investigating the report of criminal damage to a property in the Coastguard Road area of Larne on Tuesday (June 23).

Detailing the incident, Sergeant Rob Cowan said: “It was reported that three masked men approached a property at approximately 11.20pm and began kicking and banging the door. The men smashed a window at the front of the house before they ran off. A short time later two of the males returned and proceeded to damage the windows of the resident’s car before leaving in the direction of Larne town centre.

“The first male can be described as 5”8’, of slim build and aged in his 20s. The second is reported as being 5”2’, of slim build and aged in his late teens and the third male is believed to be 6” tall. All of the males are reported to be wearing khaki green clothing with a camouflage design.

“Anyone who has any information on this incident or witnessed three males of this description in the area last night is encouraged to contact police on 101, quoting reference 2104 of 23/06/2020.
