Petrol bomb left at house in NI

Police have appealed for witnesses after a petrol bomb was left outside a house in NI.

A brick was also thrown through a window of the house in Lurgan, Co Armagh.

The incident happened in the Willows area of Lurgan on Tuesday night (July 28).

Inspector Rocks said: “We received a report shortly before 10:50pm that a brick had been thrown through a window at a property in The Willows area.

“It was also reported that the windscreen of a vehicle parked outside the property had also been damaged and a petrol bomb had been placed at the front of the property but that it had not been ignited.

“Thankfully, no one was injured.

“We are working to establish a motive for this attack and would appeal to anyone who was in the area and has information which may assist our investigation to call us non 1010, and quote reference number 2098 of 28/07/20.”
