Sudden death in south Belfast probed: Detectives arrest man, 32
Detectives investigating the sudden death of a man in south Belfast this afternoon have arrested a 32-year-old.
Police were called to Cromwell Road in the Botanic area of the city by what a spokeswoman described as a “report of a concern for safety”.

As a result of that call-out the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service also attended the address. Shortly after 1pm a man was taken to hospital by ambulance, but passed away.
Said Detective Inspector Jack Kelly: “A 32-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the investigation and remains in custody at this time.”
The force’s enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding the death are still ongoing, and the PSNI have asked anyone who has any information that may assist them to get in contact with officers by dialling non-emergency phone number 101, quoting reference 707 11/02/26.
Added Detective Inspector Kelly: “A further update will be provided in due course.”
