Heartfelt tributes paid to ‘one of the nicest and most genuine lads I've ever met’ Adam Frazer

Countless tributes have been paid online to ‘young, caring and passionate’ Adam Frazer who died yesterday.

A post on Funeral Times says the Newtownhamilton man died on September 14. He is the ‘dearly loved son of Iris and Ivan, much loved brother of Amy (her boyfriend Andrew) and Nicole’.

The death insertion adds ‘House Strictly private’ and ‘funeral arrangements later’.

A message of sympathy from a friend says: “Words cannot begin to describe how the heartbreaking news yesterday will affect everyone who knew Adam Frazer

“I for one am devastated and shocked to hear of the loss of a young, caring and passionate young man, always a pleasure to speak to about goats or sheep or general chit chat and catch up with at the shows, always willing to lend a hand if you needed it.

“The work he put in over the years with the Pygmy Goats and setting a high standard for others to follow never went unnoticed.

"From what I have seen he has done the same with the Valais Black Nose Sheep.

"He was always one for giving 100% effort for everything he got involved with.

“My thoughts are with his Mother, Father, Sisters and wider family circle at this sad time.

“Rest In Peace Adam. You will be sorely missed.”

Another friend wrote, also on social media: “Can't believe I am writing these words...

“Adam was one of the nicest and most genuine lads I've ever met through the dancing scene. He will be sadly missed by us all.

Another message from the Northern Ireland Pygmy Goat Club added: “It is with heavy hearts the Chairperson, committee and members of The Northern Ireland Pygmy Goat Club, learn of the sad passing of our dear friend and colleague, Adam Frazer.

Anyone that knows or has had any interactions with Adam will be well aware of his passion, in-depth knowledge & hard working devotion towards Pygmy Goats. Knowledge & advice that he was always willing to share.

Adam has been a member of the club for many years, as well as a past Chairperson, and will be very sadly missed by NIPGC and other clubs.

He was very successful in the show ring, a result of his dedication to going the extra mile in his research, care and breeding of Pygmy Goats.

Another post from the Brucklay Pygmy Goats online said: “It is very sad news I have heard we have lost Adam Frazer from Newry NI.

"I met Adam a few years ago when he was adding to his flock and I don't think I have every met such an enthusiastic young man re goats and sheep - such a loss to our community.”

Mountview Pygmygoats group added: “We are so sorry to hear of Adams passing.
