Homes evacuated in Armagh security alert
Police are currently in attendance at a security alert on the Cathedral Road, Armagh, following the reports of an explosion that is thought to have occurred in the early hours of this morning, Sunday 13 March.
Lower English Street, Upper English Street and part of Cathedral Road, between Edward Street and the Shambles roundabout, have been closed to traffic due to the ongoing security alert.
A number of houses in these areas have been evacuated, a PSNI spokesman said.
