Earlier the Mill Road had been closed after a discovery of a suspicious object close to Abbey Business Park.
However the object was found to be a hoax.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives in Antrim on 101 quoting reference 273 13/07/16,” a PSNI spokesman said.
