Expressions of interest are to be registered by May 4 at 4pm.

Commissioner for Victims and Survivors Judith Thompson said: “We hope that this call will reach out to all those who meet the eligibility criteria and feel empowered to put themselves forward.

“The role of the panel and the Victims Forum is a vitally important one and with the replenishment of the membership we are determined to make real progress to ensure the voice of Victims and Survivors is heard in dealing with the past.

“Future planning for the Victims and Survivors of the Northern Ireland conflict is essential as the aim of the Forum is to help build a shared and better future. This means that an ongoing assessment of the needs of victims and survivors is crucial. Practically, funding arrangements and the provision of services which accompany these issues also need to be tackled and solutions found.”
