It is time to end the sham of criticising Sinn Fein, then doing nothing about them

A letter from Councillor Tom Smith:

The Stormont assembly was recalled this week to debate Sinn Fein IRA’s conduct over the Bobby Storey funeral.

Sadly, I fear that all this will be is nothing more than our politicians repeating what they have already said in public, to shake their fists, to tell us all how bad SF/IRA are and then to quietly go back to work with them the following day.

It is abundantly clear that SF/IRA are not fit for goverment.

They are being sustained in power by the DUP, UUP, SDLP and Alliance.

Michelle O’Neill is still joint first minister. Arlene Foster can’t blow her nose without the permission of SF.

Seriously, time for the mealy-mouthed words to cease. Time talking stopped and action was taken. It’s time to end this sham, and end the farce of our so-called government.
