Please tell us Sammy Wilson where Northern Ireland goes from this mess

A letter from Harry Patterson:

So Sammy Wilson thinks that what he describes as current government efforts to ‘undo some of the mess’ of their own Brexit agreement are probably credit to the tenacity of the DUP.

Dear love him, does he even believe that himself? Is the unionist electorate supposed to drink all this don’t blame us nonsense in?

Guess what Sammy? We do blame you and the rest of your party along with the cynical and duplicitous Boris Johnson for the current shameful situation with an Irish Sea border.

Perhaps you could let us know how or where we go from here. DUP MPs resigning in protest or pulling MLAs out of Stormont?

I don’t think that will happen, no matter how grave the situation is or how big the insult is the DUP will continue in the same old way — ‘tenaciously’ and getting the same old results.
