The Munich plane crash hero Harry Gregg deserves to have Belfast International Airport renamed after him
The tribute is here: (‘Brave Harry won the right to be called a true football legend,’ Feb 18)
I have written to the Department of Infrastructure asking that consideration is given to a move to rename our other airport the Belfast Harry Gregg International Airport, or something similar.

Hide AdIf we can have George Best Airport and Madeira the Christian Ronaldo Airport why not have our biggest airport named after one of our biggest, true heroes who put his life at risk to save others?
It would be excellent if the News Letter and other media took this up as an issue.
